After 3 Months, New Google Pageranks Are Showing Up Again

May as well face the music, fellow web marketeers! The last Google Pagerank Update was completed at the end of September, 2008. They do these about 4 or 5 times a year, usually. A page’s ranking from Google will have major effects on its traffic, A ‘perfect score’ of 10/10 or just 10 is reserved for Google itself. Some other very popular sites may achieve an 8 or 9. But, most sites will never see any score higher than a 7. A score of 5/10 or 5 means that Google estimates that a site is more popular than half the sites in the world, and less popular than the other half. Technically, the ranking is not simply popularity, but more a measure of how many sites link to the site, and how those linking sites themselves are linked to.
